The 2024 Kawasaki Z900 has been introduced in India, priced at Rs. 9.29 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It is offered in two color options: Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Matte Graphene Steel Grey.
Powering the Z900 is a 948cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine generating 123.6bhp at 9,500rpm and a peak torque of 98.6Nm at 7,700rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
Constructed on a steel trellis frame, the Z900 features upside-down forks at the front and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are managed by dual 300mm discs at the front and a single 250mm disc at the rear, equipped with dual-channel ABS. It rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tyres.
In terms of features, the Kawasaki Z900 is equipped with traction control, riding modes, full-LED lighting, power modes (low and full), and a colour TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Competing in India, the Kawasaki Z900 goes up against rivals such as the BMW F900R, Triumph Street Triple RS, and Ducati Monster.
