Yamaha has introduced the 2024 TMAX 560 in the Japanese market, featuring a potent 562cc, parallel-twin engine that generates 47bhp and 55.7Nm of torque. The scooter was observed undergoing testing in India in 2023.

The scooter boasts a twin-spar, diecast aluminum frame, USD fork at the front, and adjustable rear suspension, offering stability and comfort.

Equipped with 15-inch alloy wheels, the TMAX 560 utilizes a 120-section tire at the front and a 160-section tire at the rear, along with 267mm twin discs at the front and a 282mm disc at the rear for braking.

Powering the TMAX is a 562cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine mated to a V-belt automatic transmission. Its features include traction control, a color TFT display with Garmin navigation, cruise control, keyless ignition, keyless seat unlock, heated seats, and grips.

While speculation suggests Yamaha India might consider launching the TMAX 560 following sightings of test mules, its potential introduction remains uncertain. Despite the success of premium maxi-scooters like the BMW C400GT in India, the TMAX 560, if launched, could command a higher price point.
