After a busy schedule in 2023, particularly in the second half, Tata Motors is gearing up for another eventful year in 2024. Tata’s Electric Variant of the Punch
Tata Punch EV:

The Tata Punch EV, positioned to compete with the Citroen eC3, is expected to surpass its petrol counterpart in features, including LED headlamps and a sunroof. Safety enhancements such as all-wheel disc brakes are also anticipated. While sharing similarities with the internal combustion engine (ICE) Punch internally, the Punch EV’s cabin may boast a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen and an illuminated logo on the steering, akin to the new Nexon. Technical specifications for the battery and motors are yet to be revealed, with the possibility of multiple options for broader appeal.
Tata Curvv:

Tata’s SUV-coupe, the Curvv, is scheduled for a mid-2024 debut, launching initially as an EV. With an estimated range of 400-500km on a single charge and a dual-motor setup simulating all-wheel drive, the EV version will be followed by a petrol variant. The petrol Curvv will be powered by Tata’s new 1.2-litre TGDi turbocharged engine, producing 125hp and 225Nm of peak torque. Expected features include a digital driver’s screen, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, touch-operable climate control, a 360-degree camera, and a sunroof. Positioned against models like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the Curvv aims to offer a unique blend of standout design and SUV practicality.
Tata Harrier EV:

The Tata Harrier EV, expected to be the brand’s sixth all-electric model, is based on the Harrier’s Omega architecture, re-engineered for electrification. Anticipated to feature a 60kWh battery pack powering two motors for simulated AWD, the Harrier EV is projected to have a range of about 400-500km. With minor distinctions to highlight its electric nature, the all-electric Harrier’s features are expected to align with the recently launched Harrier facelift, including ADAS tech, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
Tata Altroz Facelift:

– Engine: 1.2-litre petrol, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol
Tata’s premium hatchback, the Altroz, is slated for its first major update in the upcoming year. Competing with models like the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Altroz facelift is expected to receive design changes to align with newer Tata cars. Interior tweaks are anticipated, including features seen on the Tata Altroz Racer, such as a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, six airbags, wireless charging, and an air purifier. While details about the engine options remain undisclosed, the refreshed Altroz is likely to continue offering the current model’s 88hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol and the 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options are expected to include the 5-speed manual and 6-speed dual-clutch automatic for the former, and the 5-speed manual for the latter.
