Bajaj Auto has refreshed its electric two-wheeler lineup with the launch of the 2024 Chetak Premium and Urbane variants. The Urbane variant is priced at Rs. 1,15,001, while the Premium variant is priced at Rs. 1,35,463 (both ex-showroom prices). Optional TecPac packages are now available for both variants, offering a range of new features.
In the Chetak Premium, a significant update is the introduction of a new five-inch TFT screen. The e-scooter’s top speed has increased to 73kmph, and the upgraded 3.2kWh battery pack provides a maximum range of 127km. The Premium variant also comes with an 800W charger onboard, enabling a range of 15.6 km within 30 minutes. Additional features include self-cancelling blinkers, left and right control switches, an electronic handle lock, and an increased boot space for added practicality.
Buyers of the Chetak Premium who opt for the TecPac package gain access to extra features like turn-by-turn navigation, onscreen music controls, call alerts, hill hold control, reverse mode, and the ability to personalize the display theme. Interestingly, these features can also be added to the Urbane variant by choosing the TecPac package, which, notably, also raises its top speed from 63kmph to 73kmph.
The 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium is available in three color options: Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut. On the other hand, the Urbane trim offers a choice of four colors, including Coarse Grey, Cyber White, Brooklyn Black, and Indigo Metallic Blue.
