Hero initially introduced two electric scooters under its Vida sub-brand: the V1 Plus and the V1 Pro. However, the company discontinued the V1 Plus shortly after its launch. Now, it has reintroduced the V1 Plus in Delhi with a price tag of Rs 97,800.
The Vida V1 Plus boasts a claimed real-world range of 100km and offers three riding modes: Eco, Ride, and Sport. Visually, it is identical to the V1 Pro.
Equipped with a 3.44kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Vida V1 Plus can reach a top speed of 80kph. It accelerates from 0-40kph in a claimed 3.4 seconds. The scooter shares a single motor with the V1 Pro, featuring a continuous power output of 3.9kW, peak power of 6kW, and a maximum torque output of 25Nm. It comes with two 1.72kWh removable batteries, which can be charged from 0-80 percent in 5 hours and 15 minutes.
In terms of features, the Vida V1 Plus shares the 7-inch TFT dash with auto dark and light mode, along with connected features such as turn-by-turn navigation and vehicle diagnostics tracker through the application, which are available in the V1 Pro. Additionally, it includes all-LED lighting, cruise control, keyless entry, and electronic seat and handle lock.
With its more affordable price tag, the Vida V1 Plus competes with models like the Ola S1 Air (priced at Rs 1.05 lakh), the Ather 450S (priced at Rs 97,547), and the Bajaj Chetak Urbane (priced at Rs 1.15 lakh).
