Skoda is preparing to unveil a new electric SUV at its Annual Press Conference on Today. Expected to be named the Skoda Elroq, this compact SUV is poised to replace the Karoq in the brand’s lineup. The teaser video shared by Skoda provides a sneak peek at the front end of the upcoming electric vehicle (EV), highlighting its distinctive LED lighting signatures and an illuminated Skoda emblem on the hood, which is expected to become a consistent styling feature across all future Skoda electric vehicles.
As per previous disclosures, the Skoda Elroq is scheduled to debut in 2024 as an electric counterpart to the Karoq, marking the first of several new and updated EVs from the brand. Additionally, Skoda’s electric vehicle lineup will expand to include a smaller entry-level electric SUV slated for arrival in 2025. The facelifted versions of the Enyaq and Enyaq Coupe are also set to make their debut in the same year.
Looking further ahead, Skoda has outlined plans for additional electric vehicle launches, including an estate model and a seven-seater SUV similar in size to the Kodiaq, both anticipated to be released in 2026.
