BMW X1 Prices Increased by up to Rs. 90,000

BMW India introduced the third generation of the X1 SUV in May 2023 with prices starting at Rs. 49.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Subsequently, the automaker has implemented a price hike of up to Rs. 90,000 for this SUV. Following the adjustment, the X1 is now priced between Rs. 49.50 lakh to Rs. 52.50 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom).

The BMW X1, a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz GLA, is currently available in two variants: sDrive 18i M Sport and sDrive 18d M Sport. The sDrive 18d M Sport has seen a price increase of Rs. 90,000, while the sDrive 18i M Sport is now dearer by Rs. 60,000. The sDrive 18i M Sport features a 1.5-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine with 134bhp and 230Nm of torque. The diesel variant produces 147bhp and 360Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the front wheels.

In terms of features, the new-gen X1 boasts a single-piece curved display on the dashboard, comprising a fully digital instrument cluster on the right-hand side and a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment screen on the left. Additional features include active front-row seats, a Harman-Kardon 12-speaker audio system, parking assistant, a large panoramic sunroof, and a wireless charger.
