The prices for the BYD Seal in India are set to be disclosed on 5 March, marking the sedan as the third model from the brand to debut in the country, following the e6 MPV and the Atto 3 SUV.BYD is gearing up to introduce its initial sedan offering, named the Seal, tailored for the Indian market. Unofficial bookings for the Seal sedan began at select BYD dealers in early February 2024. This vehicle, which recently underwent testing on local terrain, was initially unveiled in India at the Auto Expo in Delhi last year.Customers reserving the BYD Seal until 30 April will have the chance to participate in a promotion orchestrated by BYD India. A limited number of winners will receive complimentary UEFA match tickets and round-trip flight tickets from India to the match city.In terms of design, the BYD Seal showcases sweptback headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a blanked-off grille, an extra set of DRLs on the front bumper, flush-fitting door handles, dual-tone wheels, wraparound LED taillights, and a rear bumper diffuser.Internally, the Seal sedan is anticipated to feature a blue interior theme, a rotating touchscreen system, wireless phone connectivity, automatic climate control, and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument console.Globally, the Seal EV offers 61.4kWh and 82.5kWh battery packs, boasting a claimed range of up to 700km on a single full charge. The model is reputed to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in 3.8 seconds.
