Discounts of up to Rs 1 Lakh Are Being Offered on Honda City, City E:Hev, and Amaze Models

Honda Car India has granted its dealers the authority to provide significant discounts and benefits on their sedan lineup at the start of the new year. The comprehensive discount package includes cash benefits, corporate discounts, exchange incentives, and loyalty bonuses. Below is the breakdown of potential savings for customers looking to purchase a new Honda car this month.

Honda City e:HEV: Potential benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh

While the January 2024 models of the City e:HEV do not receive any discounts, the 2023 models come with benefits of up to Rs 1 lakh, provided as a flat cash discount with no additional perks. The City e:HEV, a robust hybrid variant of the fifth-gen City, features a 1,498cc four-cylinder petrol engine combined with two electric motors linked to an e-CVT gearbox. One electric motor is powered by the petrol engine for battery pack charging, while the second traction motor draws power from the battery to drive the front wheels. The fuel-efficient City hybrid is priced between Rs 18.89-20.39 lakh.

Honda City: Potential benefits of up to Rs 88,600

This month, Honda dealers are extending substantial discounts on the Honda City, allowing buyers to save up to Rs 88,600. Buyers can avail a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000, a loyalty bonus of up to Rs 4,000, an exchange bonus of up to Rs 6,000, and special corporate benefits of up to Rs 25,000 for the Honda-approved list of corporate units. Additionally, purchasers of the VX and ZX trims can enjoy an extended warranty (fourth and fifth years) priced at Rs 13,600, applicable to both 2023 and 2024 models.

The well-regarded Honda City, known for its balanced ride, comfortable interiors, and responsive engine, is competitively priced between Rs 11.63-16.11 lakh. It faces competition from the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus, Skoda Slavia, and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The midsize sedan features a 121hp, 145Nm, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, available with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Honda Amaze: Potential benefits of up to Rs 72,000

Both the 2023 and 2024 versions of the Honda Amaze offer benefits of up to Rs 72,000 on select trims. Priced between Rs 7.10-9.86 lakh, this compact sedan is available with substantial discounts in January. The S trim boasts multiple benefits, including a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000, a loyalty reward of up to Rs 4,000, and a corporate benefit of up to Rs 23,000. Discounts of up to Rs 52,000 and Rs 62,000 are available for the E and VX trims, respectively, with a similar breakdown of offers.

The Honda Amaze features a 1.2-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine delivering 90hp and 110Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. With a spacious cabin and excellent ride quality, the compact sedan competes in the market against the Hyundai Aura and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
