In December 2023, Ola announced discounts on its products, originally slated to last until February 2024. However, Ola has now revised and extended the discount period until March 31, 2024. The entire range of Ola scooters has undergone a price reduction, detailed as follows:
The Ola S1 X+, initially priced at Rs 1.10 lakh, is now available for Rs 84,999, marking a substantial discount of Rs 25,000. The Ola S1 X comes in three configurations: 2kWh (Rs 79,999), 3kWh (Rs 89,999), and 4kWh (Rs 1.10 lakh), along with the S1 X+ priced at Rs 85,000.
Previously launched at Rs 1.20 lakh, the Ola S1 Air is now offered at Rs 1.05 lakh until March 31. The S1 Air boasts a range of 150km, as per IDC claims, and generates a peak output of 6kW.
The Ola S1 Pro, which debuted at Rs 1.47 lakh, is currently priced at Rs 1.30 lakh, featuring a 4kWh battery pack producing a maximum output of 11kW. Ola reports that improved software has enhanced the range to 180km in Eco mode (compared to 170km) and 143km in Normal mode (compared to 135km). The S1 Pro Gen 2 introduces a telescopic front fork with a flat floorboard, while the rear section utilizes a conventional dual-sided swingarm.
The redesigned motor delivers a lower continuous power output of 5kW (versus 5.5kW on the Gen 1 model) but a higher peak power of 11kW (compared to 8.5kW). The scooter includes a 750W portable charger, and Ola asserts the same 6.5 hours charge time from zero to full. While the 7-inch TFT display remains unchanged, it is now a lower resolution unit.
Ola’s e-scooter range encompasses three models, competing with various models from Ather, TVS, Bajaj, and River.
