The Geneva International Motor Show Qatar (GIMS Qatar) was held from October 5-15, 2023, at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center. The show was a resounding success, with over 30,000 visitors from over 100 countries.
A total of 30 global automotive brands were represented at the show, including Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Bugatti, Chevrolet, Corvette, Ferrari, Ford, Genesis, Glickenhaus, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, JAC, Jeep, Karma, Kia, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lotus, Maserati, MG, Mini, Nissan, Porsche, RAM, Rolls-Royce, Toyota, and Volkswagen.
The show featured a wide variety of new and concept cars, as well as a number of interactive exhibits. Some of the highlights of the show included:
The world premiere of the KIA EV9 concept car
l The Middle East debut of the Ferrari Purosangue SUV
l The Qatar debut of the Lamborghini Urus Performance
l The regional premiere of the Toyota GR86
In addition to the cars, there were also a number of other attractions at the show, including:
l A live music stage
l A food court
l A kids’ area
The GIMS Qatar was a great success and is sure to become an annual event.
