Insider information from our dealership channels indicates that the imminent launch of the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 in India is scheduled for January. Unofficial bookings have already commenced, requiring a modest token deposit of Rs. 5,000. Although pricing details remain undisclosed at this point, industry expectations suggest a competitive range between Rs. 2.65 – 2.75 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401, previously spotted during testing, is characterized as a scrambler with off-road capabilities. The test mule provided insights into its design, showcasing features like a circular LED headlight crowned with a small visor, a robust fuel tank adorned with horizontal extensions, and a unified single-piece seat.

Drawing parallels with the new KTM 390 Duke, the Swedish scrambler is speculated to be equipped with a 399cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, paired with a six-speed gearbox, projecting power figures around 45bhp and 39Nm. Noteworthy features may include comprehensive LED illumination and an LCD display presenting essential readouts such as speedometer, trip meter, odometer, tachometer, and more.

While earlier sightings of the Svartpilen 401 revealed spoke wheels, there is speculation that the Indian variant may also offer alloy wheels. This strategic choice could assist the brand in managing production costs, ultimately contributing to a competitive pricing strategy. It’s worth noting that Bajaj, with the KTM 390 Adventure, introduced spoke wheels several years after the initial launch, and a similar approach might be considered for the new Husqvarna offering.

The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 is expected to ride on USD front forks and an offset monoshock, coupled with disc brakes at both ends featuring dual-channel ABS. Given its off-road focus, the motorcycle is set to come equipped with block-pattern tires.Breaking News: The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 Is Set to Make Its Debut in India Shortly.
