Hyundai Bayon Mini SUV 2025 Receives Feature Enhancements and a Refreshed Design

Estimated read time 2 min read

The 2025 Hyundai Bayon, one of the smallest vehicles in Hyundai’s European lineup, undergoes updates featuring a new design, enhanced connectivity and safety features, along with interior refinements. Positioned below models like the Kona, Tucson, Santa Fe, and Nexo in global markets, the Bayon is not slated for introduction in India by Hyundai at present.

The redesigned Bayon adopts Hyundai’s latest family design cues in a compact SUV form. Tailored specifically for the European market, it showcases a distinct DRL bar integrated to create a horizontal light signature reminiscent of the Verna. Changes to the front bumper and radiator grille, along with a revamped rear bumper and newly designed 16 and 17-inch wheels, refresh the vehicle’s appearance.

Inside, the Bayon now offers Over-the-Air (OTA) map updates, a new 10.25-inch LCD instrument cluster paired with a separate 10.25-inch infotainment display. It features Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, wireless charging, and Hyundai’s Bluelink telematics. Additional enhancements include two USB-C ports, LED lighting technology, and optional multicolor front ambient lighting.

On the safety front, the 2025 Bayon introduces advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane following assist (LFA) and forward collision-avoidance assist (FCA) with car, pedestrian, and cyclist detection. Navigation-based cruise control (NSCC) adjusts speed autonomously on highways using data from the navigation system. Other ADAS features include blind spot collision avoidance, driver attention warning, and lead vehicle departure alert.

While Hyundai India currently has no plans to introduce the Bayon, the brand boasts an extensive SUV lineup comprising models like the Venue, Creta, Alcazar, and Tucson.
