Land Rover Discovery Sport undergoes a significant interior upgrade for the year 2024
Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) India has introduced the refreshed Discovery Sport, exclusively available in the top-spec Dynamic SE variant with a starting price of Rs 67.90 lakh (ex-showroom). While exterior changes are subtle, the SUV’s interior has received a notable upgrade and remains available in a seven-seat configuration.
The standout feature upon entering the Discovery Sport is the new 11.4-inch curved touchscreen infotainment system, slightly larger than the outgoing model’s 10-inch screen. Running on JLR’s Pivi Pro operating software, the infotainment system features sidebars offering shortcuts to essential vehicle controls and functions, such as media, volume, climate, and navigation. This setup allows users to access 90% of tasks within two taps from the home screen and mirrors the system found in the Range Rover Velar.
The Discovery Sport has been equipped with updated features, including wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, leather upholstery, a wireless phone charger, two USB-C ports, three-zone climate control, and 3D surround cameras.
In terms of powertrain options, the Discovery Sport continues to offer a 2.0-litre petrol engine producing 245 bhp and 365 Nm of torque, as well as a 2.0-litre diesel engine generating 201 bhp and 430 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with an automatic transmission.
