Aprilia has officially launched the RS457 in the UK market, priced at approximately Rs 6.8 lakh and exported from India.

Competing directly with the Kawasaki Ninja 400 and Yamaha YZF-R3, the Aprilia RS457 provides more options for A2 license holders in the UK. Despite its higher price compared to competitors, Aprilia anticipates strong sales for this model. The Yamaha YZF-R3 is slightly costlier than the RS457.

Powering the RS457 is a 457cc parallel-twin cylinder engine with liquid cooling, producing around 47bhp and 43.5Nm of torque. It is coupled with a six-speed gearbox featuring slip and assist clutch, with the option of a bi-directional quick-shifter. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch wheels suspended by upside-down forks and a mono-shock with preload adjustability at both ends. Braking is managed by single disc brakes at the front and rear, complemented by dual-channel ABS. Notable features include full LED lighting, a five-inch TFT display offering access to rider aids such as engine maps, traction control, ABS, anti-roll system, and three riding modes.

The Aprilia RS457 is available in three color options for both the Indian and international markets. Production of this motorcycle takes place at the brand’s facility in Baramati, India.
