In January 2024, Mahindra recorded a total of 6,059 Thar units sold, with diesel variants representing 89% at 5,402 units. Additionally, the brand sold 657 units of the two-door SUV, reflecting a nearly 100% increase from the 334 units sold during the same period last year. Conversely, the company retailed 4,076 units of the SUV in diesel form last year.
Regarding production, Mahindra manufactured 5,500 units of the diesel Thar, compared to 4,987 units during the same period last year. Similarly, production of the petrol variants increased from 346 units to 671 units between January 2023 and January 2024.
