Mercedes-Benz India has introduced the GLA and AMG GLE 53 Coupe facelifts in the Indian market. The GLA, available in three variants – 200, 220d 4Matic, and 220d 4Matic AMG, comes with refreshed styling elements including a new front fascia, updated bumpers, redesigned LED headlamps, enhanced MBUX interface, and new 19-inch alloy wheels. Mechanically, the GLA facelift offers a choice between a 1.3-liter petrol engine and a 2.0-liter diesel engine coupled with seven-speed and eight-speed automatic transmissions, respectively.

On the other hand, the AMG GLE 53 Coupe is offered in a single variant and features a 3.0-liter turbo-petrol engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, delivering a combined output of 429bhp and 560Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to all four wheels through a nine-speed automatic gearbox and Mercedes’ 4Matic system.
The pricing for the newly launched models is as follows:
– GLA 200: Rs. 50.50 lakh
– GLA 220d 4Matic: Rs. 54.75 lakh
– GLA 220d 4Matic AMG line: Rs. 56.90 lakh
– AMG GLE 53 Coupe: Rs. 1.85 crore
All prices mentioned are ex-showroom. Additionally, Mercedes-Benz also unveiled the electric version of its iconic G-Wagon during the launch event.
