The exterior of the new Swift showcases a distinct design departure from the current generation. The front features a redesigned grille, updated LED headlamps with L-shaped LED DRLs, and 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear boasts inverted-C-shaped LED taillights and door-mounted rear handles, contributing to a refreshed and stylish profile. The Japanese-spec Swift offers a diverse palette of 13 colors, including Frontier Blue, Cool Yellow, Burning Red, Flame Orange, Caravan Ivory, Pure White, Premium Silver, Star Silver, Super Black, and various dual-tone options with a black roof.

Inside the cabin, the new-gen Swift mirrors the revamped interiors seen in the Baleno and the Fronx. Loaded with features, it includes a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, automatic climate control, rearview camera, steering-mounted controls, six airbags, keyless start/stop button, 360-degree surround camera, and an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. The Suzuki Swift, in the global market, offers two powertrain choices – a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.2-litre petrol-hybrid motor. Transmission options comprise a five-speed manual and a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), with both front-wheel drive (FWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) configurations available.

The introduction of the new Swift in Japan sets the stage for its eventual launch in India, where it is expected to continue the model’s legacy of blending style, performance, and advanced features.
