Bengaluru-based startup Simple Energy, known for the Simple One e-scooter, has declared the unveiling of the Dot One in India on December 15th. Priced at less than Rs 1 lakh, it directly competes with the Ola S1 X. The key difference lies in the battery pack, with the Dot One utilizing a 3.7kWh battery, providing an estimated IDC range of 160km. Despite not disclosing performance figures yet, Simple Energy anticipates the Dot One to share a similar aesthetic with the One, featuring bold bodywork and diverse color options. Equipped with a touchscreen TFT display and Bluetooth connectivity, more details are expected to be revealed at the imminent launch.
