In the five months since Tata Motors unveiled the updated Nexon SUV in India, the vehicle has become a dominant force in its segment, owing to its impressive performance and feature-rich offerings. The overwhelming demand for the Nexon has led to a waiting period for eager customers.

As of February 2024, customers opting for the petrol variants of the Tata Nexon may face a waiting period of up to eight weeks from the date of booking. On the diesel front, those interested in bringing home this Maruti Suzuki Brezza rival may experience a waiting period ranging from four to six weeks post-booking. However, it’s important to note that waiting times can vary based on factors such as region, dealership, chosen variant, color, gearbox option, and other considerations.

In related developments, the Tata Nexon has recently achieved a significant milestone in safety. The mid-size SUV secured a five-star safety rating in the global NCAP crash test, highlighting its commitment to occupant safety. Scoring 32.22 out of 34 points in adult occupant tests and 44.52 out of 49 points in child occupant tests, the Nexon impressed with features such as frontal airbags, belt pretensioners, belt load limiters, side head curtain airbags, seatbelt reminders, and electronic stability control.

As Tata Motors continues to address the demand surge for the Nexon, the reduced waiting period is expected to bring relief to prospective buyers looking to experience the acclaimed features and safety standards of this popular SUV.

Note: The waiting period information is subject to change based on market conditions, and potential buyers are advised to check with dealerships for the latest updates.
