Hero unveiled a special edition of the Karizma XMR at the Hero World event, alongside the launch of the Xtreme 125R and the showcase of the Mavrick 440. This exclusive edition of the Karizma XMR commemorates Hero Motocorp’s founder, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal, on his 100th birth anniversary. Limited to just 100 units, it is set to hit the market in July.
The Karizma CE001 features Dr. Brijmohan Lall’s image on a badge located on the fuel tank and incorporates multiple carbon-fiber elements and Pirelli tires. Additionally, it boasts an Akrapovic exhaust, hydraulic clutch, and CNC-milled components. The design of the CE001 includes a quarter-fairing reminiscent of the original Karizma, with most body panels crafted from carbon fiber. Unlike the XMR, the CE model is equipped with a handlebar rather than clip-ons. The bike features billet-machined components such as footpegs and the swingarm.
Based on the Karizma XMR, the CE001 is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 210cc, single-cylinder engine. It comes with premium cycle parts, including a USD fork, an Ohlins monoshock, and a radial front brake caliper, along with grippy Pirelli tires. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and features a hydraulic actuator for the clutch. Nearly all body panels on the Karizma CE are made of carbon fiber, and it is equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust muffler.
