The Tata Tiago EV Is Currently Available with Discounts of up to Rs 80,000

Tata dealerships are presenting enticing discounts on the Tata Tiago EV for both remaining MY2023 unsold inventory and newly arrived MY2024 units. The discount offerings vary between dealers and are contingent upon their respective inventories. The comprehensive deals comprise cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and a ‘green bonus,’ an added incentive for customers choosing electric vehicles.

Savings of up to Rs 80,000 on Tiago EV

The Tiago EV is eligible for a total discount of up to Rs 35,000 for the MY2024 model and up to Rs 80,000 for older models. For the MY2024 variant, the total benefits include an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a green bonus of Rs 20,000 across all variants. In the case of older Tiago EV models, the total discount encompasses an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000 and a green bonus of up to Rs 65,000. Positioned against competitors like the MG Comet, Citroen eC3, and Tata Punch EV, the Tiago EV is priced in the range of Rs 8.69 lakh to Rs 12.04 lakh.

The Tiago EV is offered with both Medium Range and Long Range battery options. The mid-range variant, equipped with a 19.2kWh battery, delivers a range of 250km on the MIDC cycle, powering a front-axle mounted electric motor generating 61hp and 110Nm of torque. The long-range variant, featuring a larger 24kWh battery, offers a 315km range on the MIDC cycle, with an output of 74hp and 114Nm.

Up to Rs 1.05 lakh off on Tigor EV

The Tigor EV, serving as a compact sedan alternative to the Tiago EV, is subject to a total discount of up to Rs 1.05 lakh. This includes a flat cash discount of Rs 75,000, accompanied by an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 across all variants. However, these discounts are applicable only until the end of the month for MY2023 and older models.

The Tigor EV boasts an ARAI-claimed range of 315km, powered by a 26kWh lithium-ion unit. The battery propels a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor with an output of 75hp and 170Nm of torque. In the market, the Tigor EV faces no direct competitors and is priced between Rs 12.49 lakh and Rs 13.75 lakh.
