Volvo Cars India, which currently offers four models in the country, has implemented a price increase effective from January 1, 2024. Notably, only the prices of the Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) models have been raised, while the electric SUVs remain unaffected.
The XC60 has experienced a price hike of Rs. 1,05,000, and the XC90’s price has been raised by Rs. 2,04,900. Volvo Cars attributes this decision to escalating input costs and fluctuating foreign exchange rates.
Volvo’s current lineup in India consists of two electric models, namely the C40 Recharge and XC40 Recharge, along with two ICE models, the XC60 and the XC90 SUV.
Here are the updated ex-showroom prices for Volvo’s models:
– C40 Recharge: Rs. 62,95,000
– XC40 Recharge: Rs. 57,90,000
– XC60: Rs. 68,90,000
– XC90: Rs. 1,00,89,900
