Yamaha India has introduced the 2024 FZ-X series in the Indian market. The retro-styled Japanese offering now comes with two new paint options for the year – Matte Titan and Chrome. However, initially, Yamaha will provide the FZ-X in Matte Titan, Dark Metallic Blue, and Matte Copper variants, with the Chrome version becoming available from February onwards.
The starting price for the new FZ-X Matte Titan is Rs. 1,37,200 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Powering the bike is a 149cc, single-cylinder engine delivering 12.23bhp and 13.3Nm, coupled with a five-speed gearbox. The 2024 FZ-X retains its unchanged design, featuring a round headlight with LED DRLs along the periphery.
The bike boasts full LED lighting, an LCD with smartphone connectivity, USB socket, traction control, and a side stand sensor. It rides on 41mm telescopic front forks and a seven-step adjustable monoshock. Braking is handled by a 282mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, both mounted on 17-inch wheels fitted with a 100/80 front and 140/60 rear tire.
In addition to the FZ-X, Yamaha India has also updated the 2024 YZF R15 and FZ-S lineup with color and other enhancements.
