Mahindra is currently developing a new line of electric vehicles (EVs) based on its INGLO platform, with the BE.05 and BE.07 as the first models in this EV SUV family. The design patents indicate that the production version of the BE.07 closely resembles the concept initially showcased on August 15, 2022. Positioned as a larger SUV compared to the BE.05, the BE.07 features a traditional SUV design with a more upright stance and fewer creases than its sportier counterpart.
The BE.07, expected to launch in April 2026, maintains the distinctive C-shaped headlights and tail-lights seen in the concept. Although the patent images don’t reveal the interior, the concept previewed a cabin with a prominent divided screen dominating the dashboard, a large panoramic sunroof, and a minimalistic approach with touch and haptic feedback.
Anticipated to be positioned above models like the Maruti eVX, Hyundai Creta EV, and upcoming Tata Curvv EV, the BE.07 boasts a length of 4.6m. Mahindra’s BE family of EV SUVs, built on the INGLO platform, is likely to feature battery packs ranging from 60-80kWh, providing claimed ranges between 435-450km (WLTP). The BE.07 may offer both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, with electric motor outputs ranging from 231-286hp for the RWD model and 340-394hp for the AWD variant. Additional details are expected to be revealed closer to the BE.07’s launch in April 2026.
