In a bid to elevate the in-car audio experience, Volkswagen has recently launched Sound Editions for its Taigun SUV and Virtus sedan. Priced at an ex-showroom rate of Rs. 16.33 lakh for the Taigun and Rs. 15.52 lakh for the Virtus, these special editions come with notable features. Here are the top three highlights:
Upgraded Sound System:
Both the Taigun and Virtus Sound Editions feature an all-new seven-speaker sound system complete with a subwoofer and amplifier. This enhancement is expected to deliver a premium auditory experience, similar to the 240W sub-woofer found in the boot of the new Skoda Slavia Matte Edition.
Distinctive Badging and Graphics:
Volkswagen has adorned both special editions with unique ‘Sound’ badges and graphics on the exterior. This not only adds a touch of exclusivity but also signals the emphasis on the enhanced sound system.
Aesthetic Colors and Customization:
Retaining their original design, both the SUV and sedan come in four color options: Lava Red, Wild Cherry Red, Carbon Steel, and Grey Rising Blue. Customers also have the option to choose a contrasting white-painted roof and ORVMs for further personalization.
Engine and Gearbox Specifications:
The Sound Editions retain the existing 1.0-litre turbo-petrol TSI engine, delivering 113bhp and 178Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission.
Volkswagen continues to enhance its offerings, aiming to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable driving experience for its customers.
