Hero MotoCorp’s upcoming motorcycle, likely to be named the Mavrick 440, is scheduled for launch on January 22, 2024, at the Hero World event held at the Centre for Innovation and Technology in Jaipur. This new bike, the second product co-produced in collaboration with Harley-Davidson, is anticipated to share a common platform with the Harley-Davidson X440, the initial outcome of the Hero-Harley partnership.
Hero MotoCorp has officially trademarked the name Mavrick 440 for potential use in the upcoming motorcycle. The company has also trademarked another name, Hurikan 440, suggesting the possibility of two different products based on the same platform.
Furthermore, media invites for a first ride of the upcoming motorcycle have been sent out by Hero MotoCorp. These invitations feature different letters of the alphabet, with “A,” “M,” “V,” “R,” and “I” among them. The motorcycle is expected to showcase a new design and bodywork, and a comprehensive real-world review is anticipated in February 2024.
Hero MotoCorp’s Instagram teaser for the upcoming Mavrick 440 suggests an anticipated competitive pricing, likely around Rs. 2 lakh (ex-showroom) or just below this mark. At these price points, the Mavrick 440 is expected to directly rival the Royal Enfield 350 range and the Honda CB350 range.
