The Hyundai Exter, a recently popular SUV, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 100,000 bookings in the country. Launched in July 2023 at an introductory price of Rs. 6 lakh (ex-showroom), the Korean SUV reached the milestones of 50,000 and 75,000 bookings in August and October 2023, respectively.
Available in seven variants – EX, EX (O), S, S (O), SX, SX (O), and SX (O) Connect, the Hyundai Exter is currently priced between Rs. 6.35 lakh and Rs. 10 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom).
Under the hood, the Exter is equipped with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine paired with a five-speed manual and an AMT unit. Additionally, this engine offers the option of a company-fitted CNG kit. The 1.2 Kappa motor produces 82bhp and 114Nm of torque in petrol mode, while the CNG version generates 68bhp and 95.2Nm of peak torque.
