Tata Motors Suggests a Potential Price Increase Starting January 2024

Following Audi India and Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors has revealed its contemplation of a price increase across its entire portfolio starting January 2024. Although the specific percentage of the proposed hike has not been disclosed, Tata Motors has clarified that it will be applied to both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles and electric vehicles.

Tata Motors’ current passenger car lineup in India includes models such as the Tiago, Tiago EV, Tigor, Tigor EV, Altroz, Punch, Nexon, Nexon EV, and the recently launched Harrier and Safari. Additionally, Tata Motors has inaugurated a new Registered Vehicle Scrapping Facility (RVSF) in Chandigarh, focusing on environmentally friendly processes and the potential to recycle 12,000 vehicles annually.

In an official statement, Tata Motors mentioned, “We are considering a price hike across our passenger and electric vehicles in January 2024. The extent of the hike and exact details will be announced in a few weeks.”
