Kawasaki Ninja 500 Roars into the Indian Market at an Introductory Price of Rs 5.24 Lakh

Kawasaki has officially launched the highly anticipated Ninja 500 in the Indian market, introducing it at an attractive introductory price of Rs 5.24 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Ninja 500, unveiled at EICMA 2023 in November, is set to replace the Ninja 400 in various markets, showcasing upgraded features and a dynamic design inspired by its elder siblings, the ZX-6R and ZX-10R.

    • The Indian market will feature the Ninja 500 in a single standard variant, distinguishing it from other markets where an additional SE variant is available.
  2. Striking Metallic Spark Black Color:
    • The middleweight sports bike comes in a captivating metallic spark black color scheme, adding a touch of elegance to its aggressive design.
  3. Powerful Engine:
    • The Ninja 500 houses a more potent liquid-cooled 451cc parallel-twin engine, producing an impressive 44.38 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine features a larger stroke compared to its predecessor, the Ninja 400.

    • Inspired by its elder siblings, the Ninja 500 boasts a dynamic design with an aggressive fascia, a signature split headlamp setup, compact windscreen, sharp contours, raised tail section, split seating, and a clip-on handlebar.

    • The motorcycle comes equipped with a range of advanced features, including an LCD instrument console with smartphone connectivity, Kawasaki Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System, Type-C charging port, assist and slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS.

    • Maintaining a steel trellis frame and fuel tank from the Ninja 400, the motorcycle features a 41 mm telescopic front fork, gas-charged monoshock at the rear, and reliable braking with 310 mm front and 220 mm rear disc brakes. The bike has a wheelbase of 1375 mm, a seat height of 785 mm, and weighs 171 kg.
