Kawasaki has updated the W175, its most affordable motorcycle in India for 2024. Priced starting at Rs. 1.22 lakh, the W175 now introduces two new color options – Metallic Graphite Grey and Metallic Ocean Blue, in addition to the existing Ebony and Persimmon Red variants, providing a retro appeal.
In a bid to attract more customers, Kawasaki has also implemented a price cut of approximately Rs 25,000. The pricing for the updated W175 is as follows: Rs 1.22 lakh for the Ebony variant, Rs 1.24 lakh for the Red variant, Rs 1.29 lakh for the Grey variant, and Rs 1.31 lakh for the Blue variant with golden pinstripes, all ex-showroom.
While these changes focus on color and pricing, there are no alterations to the engine or features of the Kawasaki W175. It continues to be powered by a 177cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine delivering 12.8bhp and 13.2Nm of torque, mated toa five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle maintains its cradle frame with telescopic forks and dual springs at the back, while the braking setup consists of a front disc and a rear drum.
