Bookings for the Sonet facelift are now open at a reservation amount of Rs. 25,000, and deliveries are set to commence later this month. Kia recently showcased the updated sub-four-meter SUV in India, with the official pricing announcement scheduled for January 12th. The facelifted Sonet, a competitor to the Hyundai Venue and Tata Nexon, will offer various engine options, including a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine with a five-speed manual, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre diesel with transmission choices like a six-speed manual, iMT, and automatic.
The refreshed Sonet features design enhancements, including revised front and rear bumpers, new LED headlamps and taillights, LED fog lights, disc brakes on all four wheels, new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and an LED light bar on the tailgate. The SUV will be available in seven variants and offered in a palette of 11 colors.
Inside, the Sonet facelift boasts new features such as a powered driver seat, 360-degree camera, Level 1 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), a 10.25-inch fully digital color instrument console, six standard airbags, and rear door sunshade curtains.
