Kinetic Green has introduced the Zulu electric scooter in India, priced at Rs 94,990 for the standard battery variant, with an additional variant featuring an oil-cooled battery setup to be priced at Rs 1.05 lakh. The scooter offers six color options, and customers can choose a battery subscription scheme that lowers the initial price to Rs 69,000 for the standard battery version, accompanied by a monthly subscription fee based on usage. Visually, the Zulu features an apron-mounted headlamp, LED DRL, and various design elements. It measures 1830 mm in length, 715 mm in width, and 1135 mm in height, with a ground clearance of 160 mm and a kerb weight of 93 kilograms.
The scooter includes a digital speedometer, under-seat storage with a boot light, ride modes, and a side stand sensor. It is equipped with a hub motor generating 2.1 kW peak power, achieving a top speed of 60 kmph, and a 2.27 kWh battery providing a claimed range of 104 km. The standard battery version employs a 750 W charger with a 4-hour charging time, while the oil-cooled variant features a 2.5 kW charger reaching 80% charge in 30 minutes. The IP67-rated battery and motor are positioned beneath the under-seat storage area.
