Tata Motors is set to introduce a sportier variant of the Altroz, equipped with a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 118bhp. Unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 alongside other notable models like the Harrier EV, Nexon Dark, Nexon CNG, and ICE Curvv, the Altroz Racer debuted initially at last year’s Auto Expo.
The Altroz Racer distinguishes itself from its standard counterpart with several enhancements both inside and out. Under the hood, it boasts a 1.2-liter turbocharged three-cylinder engine generating 118bhp and 170Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Externally, the Altroz Racer features a dual-tone paint scheme, twin white stripes running along the car’s center, ‘Racer’ badging, new 16-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels, and a blacked-out hood.
Inside the cabin, the model boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, electric sunroof, 360-degree camera, contrast orange stitching and inserts for the seats, ‘Racer’ embossing on the headrests, ventilated front seats, rear AC vents, wireless charger, heads-up display (HUD), and a seven-inch digital cluster.
