Kawasaki has introduced the 2024 Ninja ZX-6R in India during the India Bike Week 2023, and the official launch is scheduled for January 1, 2024. The updated model showcases refreshed styling and adheres to the Euro-5 emission standards.
The 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R exhibits a slightly revised front fascia, drawing inspiration from the design of the Ninja ZX-10R, while the overall design remains consistent with its predecessor.
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R is an upgraded 636cc, in-line four-cylinder engine that delivers 129bhp at 13,000rpm and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 10,800rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and features a standard bi-directional quickshifter. Notable rider aids include a traction control system, dual-channel ABS, riding modes, and more.
The motorcycle’s suspension system consists of Showa Separate Function forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the rear. The suspension is fully adjustable for rebound, compression damping, and preload adjustment at both ends. Braking is managed by 310mm dual discs at the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear, with the bike riding on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 120/70 ZR17 front and 180/55 ZR17 rear tires.
Anticipated to be priced at approximately Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom), the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R will compete with the Aprilia RS 660 in the Indian market.
