Starting January 1, 2024, the Triumph Speed 400 will maintain its price at Rs. 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom). In contrast, the Scrambler 400 X will continue to be available at its original launch price of Rs. 2.63 lakh (ex-showroom). Both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are collaborative products developed by Bajaj Auto and Triumph, and they will be retailed across Triumph World showrooms in over 40 cities, totaling 50-plus locations in India.The Speed 400 is equipped with a 398.15cc liquid-cooled engine, generating 39.5bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 39Nm at 6,500rpm. The single-cylinder engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. Notable features of the motorcycle include ride-by-wire throttle, full-LED lighting, dual-channel ABS, and a semi-digital instrument cluster.Competing with models such as the Harley-Davidson X440, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB300R, and the KTM 390 Duke, the Triumph Speed 400 is positioned as a versatile choice in the market.
