For the year 2024, Indian Motorcycle unveils the visually striking FTR x RSD Super Hooligan model. Collaborating with Roland Sands, a former racer renowned for motorcycle performance parts and apparel design, Indian Motorcycle introduces this limited-edition variant of the FTR R Carbon.
The new Super Hooligan edition features black metallic bodywork adorned with ‘Super Hooligan’ race graphics. It boasts a classic Indian Motorcycle Red frame complemented by wheels featuring gold accents and adorned with Indian Motorcycle Racing’s No. 1 championship logo. Additional graphics grace the radiator shroud, front fender, fork, and showcase the racing team’s sponsors’ logos.
Under the hood, the motorcycle retains its powerful 1,203 cc V-Twin liquid-cooled engine, delivering over 120 bhp and 120 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm. It pairs with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch. Premium cycle parts include fully adjustable Ohlins updated front fork, a piggyback monoshock with 120 mm of suspension travel at each end, and twin-disc Brembo calipers upfront.
Enhancing rider experience, the bike integrates a 4-inch touchscreen display powered by India’s Ride Command system, offering Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity. The FTR x RSD Super Hooligan provides three riding modes – rain, standard, and sport, alongside stability control, traction control, lean-sensitive ABS, wheelie control, and rear-wheel lift mitigation.
The motorcycle also boasts an Akrapovič® muffler and heat shield, coupled with performance parts from Gilles Tooling, including adjustable rear-sets, oil cap, radiator cap, and bar-end weights, enhancing its premium finish.
Indian Motorcycle plans to manufacture only 300 units of the FTR x RSD Super Hooligan, each uniquely numbered. Out of these, only 150 units are reserved for sale outside of North America. Priced at $18,499 (approximately Rs. 15.32 lakh), the motorcycle is available for purchase on Indian Motorcycle’s website, offering enthusiasts a chance to acquire this exclusive model.
