The Tesla Cybertruck, introduced four years ago in 2019, has recently commenced deliveries, marking Tesla’s entry into the all-electric pickup truck market. The lineup consists of three models: the base RWD, the mid AWD, and the high-end ‘Cyberbeast’ trim. Deliveries for the RWD variant are scheduled to begin in 2025, starting at $60,990 with a claimed range of 402.3 km.

Priced at $79,990, the mid-spec AWD trim boasts a maximum claimed range of 547 km, surpassing the other variants. The top-tier Cyberbeast trim, priced at $99,990, accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in under 3 seconds, with a top speed of 209 kmph and a range that can extend beyond 700 km. Both AWD models feature a towing capacity of nearly 5,000 kg.

The AWD and Cyberbeast models, weighing over 3,100 kg, ride on 20-inch wheels and offer a ground clearance of 443 mm in ‘extract’ mode, facilitated by electronically adaptive air suspension with a 305 mm travel. The Cybertruck’s stainless steel exoskeleton eliminates the need for paint.

Internally, the minimalist-designed Tesla Cybertruck accommodates five people with an 18.5-inch front touchscreen and a 9.5-inch rear touchscreen featuring a new user interface. Noteworthy features include a bio-weapon defense mode and a vast 3,423-liter cargo bay with a lockable door, suitable for transporting various items.

Bookings for the Tesla Cybertruck can be made on the company’s website, positioning it against competitors such as the GMC Hummer EV, Ford F-150 Lightning, and the Rivian R1T.
